Step 1) Cut the fiber seat to fit your chair using a band saw, scroll saw, or jigsaw, for best results. If no power saw is available craft knives also work. For seats that will over lap the hole, cut 1" larger than hole on all sides. Step 2) With medium (100 grit) sand paper, sand the edge of your fiber seat to a smooth bevel. Step 3) Fiber seats are held in place with decorative tacks. Space the tack according to taste, but not to exceed 2 inches from center of tack to center of tack. Step 4) If desired, brush on wood stain to give more of a leather look. A clear finish can be applied to add protection.
